‍Specific information about the website

Use of a newsletter

As part of registering for our newsletter (this applies to both responsible parties in each case), you provide us with your e-mail address and optionally other data. We use this information exclusively to send you the newsletter. The data you entered when registering for the newsletter will remain stored by us until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending us a corresponding message. By unsubscribing, you object to the use of your e-mail address.

Furthermore, we use your e-mail address, which we receive in connection with the service, exclusively for direct advertising in the form of our newsletter for our own similar goods or services, such as those ordered by you, provided that you have not objected to this use. You can object to the use of your e-mail address at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the prime rates. Your objection (and thus the cancellation of our newsletter) can be exercised by sending a corresponding message to our e-mail address (see imprint).

Newsletter2Go

The newsletter is sent using the dispatch service provider Newsletter2Go GmbH, Nürnberger Straße 8, 10787 Berlin, Germany. You can view the privacy policy of the dispatch service provider here: https://www.newsletter2go.de/datenschutz/. The shipping service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and a contract processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 p. 1 DSGVO. The dispatch service provider may use the data of the recipients in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to auser, to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimize thedispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from our server when the newsletter is opened, or if we use a shipping service provider, from their server. In the course of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the time of the retrieval are collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on the irretrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. The statistical surveys also include the determination of whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our intention nor, if used, that of the dispatch service provider to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users. A separate revocation of the performance measurement is unfortunately not possible, in which case the entire newsletter subscription must be cancelled.

It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After a short time at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymized form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts.
